Purchase and Receive Your Instone

Once your Instone arrives, you’re ready to begin creating your memory.

If You Have Service (Quick Setup)

1. Scan Your Instone

Use your phone to scan the QR code or enter the memory code on your Instone.

2. Create Your Account

Set up a quick Instone account to begin storing your memories.

3. Create Your Memory Instantly

With internet service, you can complete everything on the spot:

  • Add the exact location
  • Upload photos
  • Write a message or story
  • Automatically link the Instone to your account

4. Choose Public or Private Viewing

  • Public — Visible on the Instone website and digital world map
  • Private — Only viewable when someone scans that specific Instone

No Signal? No Problem.

1. Place Your Instone Offline

If you’re hiking, camping, travelling, or exploring remote areas without reception, you can still place your Instone.

Before leaving it:

  • Take a photo of the Instone’s QR code or memory code
  • This will allow you to link the Instone later

Then leave your Instone at your chosen location.

2. Create Your Memory When Back in Service

Once you regain internet connection, you can:

  • Upload the exact location where you placed your Instone
  • Upload your saved QR/code photo to identify it
  • Add photos from your trip
  • Write your message or story

3. Link It to Your Instone

Your memory is now connected to that specific Instone and saved to your account.

4. Choose Public or Private Viewing

  • Public — Visible on the Instone website and digital world map
  • Private — Only viewable when someone scans that specific Instone
