About

At Instone, we believe memories should live beyond the moment.

Instone was created to connect real-world places with the stories, photos, and messages that make them meaningful. Each Instone is a physical engraved stone linked to a digital memory, allowing people to leave behind moments from their travels, adventures, relationships, and life experiences.

Whether placed on a hiking trail, at a lookout, near the ocean, or somewhere personally meaningful, every Instone becomes part of a larger story. When scanned, it reveals the memory connected to that place, creating a bridge between the physical world and the digital one.

Instone is more than a product, it is a way to leave memories set in stone.

A modern-day time capsule, built for travellers, hikers, couples, families, and future generations.

Our vision is to create a living world archive of human memories – a digital map filled with real stories, emotions, adventures, and moments left behind by people across the globe. Through Instone, we hope to preserve pieces of human history that might otherwise be forgotten, allowing future generations to experience the lives, journeys, and memories of people from all around the world.

Our goal is simple:  To help memories live on long after the moment has passed.

The places that matter are yours to choose.

More Than a Memory

An Instone can hold whatever matters to you.

It could mark the place you met someone you love, an unforgettable journey with friends, a personal achievement, a tribute to someone who is no longer here, a message for the future, or simply a moment you never want to forget.

There are no rules for what a memory has to be. Every story is different, and every Instone becomes a small piece of the person who left it behind.

Built to Live Through Time

Instone was created with the future in mind. As more memories are placed around the world, each one becomes part of something larger, a growing collection of real human experiences connected to the places where they happened.

Years from now, an Instone may still be discovered. A story may still be read. A memory that could have disappeared years ago may continue to be experienced by someone who was never there when it began.

Our Vision

We imagine a world where millions of memories are connected to real places across the globe, creating a living archive of human life, built not by historians, but by everyday people.

A world filled with stories of love, adventure, friendship, loss, achievement, and everything in between. Stories that might otherwise have been forgotten, preserved for future generations to discover.

One thing I would change: you currently have an “Our vision” paragraph near the top and then another “Our Vision” section at the bottom. I’d keep both for now, but eventually I’d slightly rewrite the first one so they don’t repeat each other too much.
